At times I was able to use my mouse over 15 feet away from my computer and TV, so anyone using a desktop should have no problems. It feels very stable under your hand.

Loading recommendations for this item I never realized how much I would appreciate not having the cord. The shape and design are sleek and comfortable. Logitceh was soooo easy! My first "cordless mouse" was useless. Rubber logitecj on the sides keep you fingers from slipping, and the thumb button has been moved down a bit from previous Logitech mice to avoid accidental clicking.

The wheel provides easy scrolling in Windows and on the Web.
